Before you can use your own domain name for your white label account, you’ll need to add four CNAME records to your DNS records.
Step 1. Get your CNAME records from the white label settings in your LeadPost account.
Once you submit your white label settings for the first time from the White Label tab, you will receive a message which shows you the CNAME records that will need to be placed as shown below. Note that you can click the “Copy Instructions” button to copy the instructions and CNAME record names and values.
Step 2. Log into your domain host to manage your DNS records.
Once you have your CNAME records, you’ll log into your domain host to add them to your DNS records.

NOTE Your DNS records are probably managed by the company that sold you your domain name (e.g., WhoIs, Namecheap, or GoDaddy). |
Step 3. Add your CNAME records to your DNS records.
Select CNAME as the record type and add the first record. This should include a “Label” or “Host” field, which corresponds to the “Name” field in your white label settings. Copy the name of the first record (excluding the domain portion) and paste it into the “Host” or “Label” field of the CNAME record.

IMPORTANT When adding a CNAME, you will want to exclude the domain portion from the "Name" field. For example, the CNAME "Name" field below should be entered as "app", not "app.mydomain.com". |
The CNAME record will also include a “Destination” or “Target” field which corresponds to the “Value” field in your white label settings. Copy the value of the first record and paste it into the “Destination” or “Target” field of the CNAME record.
Step 4. Save your CNAME record.
Click save. The change will often take effect quickly, but it may take as long as 72 hours.
Step 5. Repeat the process for your three other CNAME records.
After you’ve created your first CNAME record. Repeat the same process the add the last three records.
Step 6. Confirm Placement
After the CNAMEs have been added, return to the White Label tab. If all DNS records have been confirmed, you will see a green check next to each CNAME record.
If you see a message that indicates "SSL Certificate Pending Issuance" next to any of these CNAMES, this means that the system is generating and binding the SSL Certificates for your white label account and you should click the "Refresh" button until you see a message indicating that the DNS has been completed successfully.

NOTE If you return to the White Label tab and do not see the DNS instructions any more, this means your DNS and SSL setup has completed successfully and you can now access your white label platform using the domain name you entered for your "White Label Site Sub-Domain". |
