Editing an existing social or display campaign is simple. Just navigate to Campaigns > Social & Display and click the pencil icon under the Actions menu next to the campaign you want to edit. Make any necessary changes and relaunch the campaign.
Add a Social or Display Campaigns
To add a new social or display campaign, go to Campaigns > Social & Display and click the plus sign at the top of the page. Then, you'll select the network. There are two options.
- Facebook. Facebook campaigns will run on Facebook and Instagram.
- Display. Display campaigns will run on the Google Display Network.
Whichever network you choose, you'll need to have at least one active creative for that network before proceeding.
Then, you'll give the campaign a name, and select the campaign status.
- Active means that any leads that meet your filter criteria will receive the ad.
- Inactive means that the campaign is effectively off. No ads will run. 1
- Archived means the campaign will no longer appear in the campaign list, unless you choose to see archived campaigns.
Then, you can set an optional start date and end date.
Choose an Audience
Next, you'll select your audiences. Every campaign must have at least one audience selected. You can also choose multiple audiences for any or all campaigns. You can filter the audience by URL visited, time on site, and other criteria.
If you select an audience that already has audience members in it, you'll receive a notice indicating that you need to choose whether or not you want to include the existing audience members in the campaign or just new audience members that are added going forward.
After that, you'll select any suppression audiences you want to exclude from the campaign. These are not required, but if you do want to suppress existing customers or other pixel data, you can do that here.
Split-Test Your Social & Display Ads
Then, you'll select at least one creative. If you select multiple creatives, the ad will be A-B tested across however many creatives you select. At any point in time, if you decide one ad is performing better than the other, you can deselect the underperforming ad so LeadPost will no longer deliver it to the selected audience. You can also add new creatives for testing.
Set Your Budget
Finally, you'll set your budget. If you only want to spend a certain amount per day, you can add a daily budget cap. You can also add 30-day and lifetime budget caps.
Launch Your Campaign
Once you're done setting your preferences, click the Finish button to launch your campaign.
