To add a social creative in LeadPost, navigate to Creatives > Social & Display. From here you'll click the plus sign.
Authenticate with Facebook
If you haven't authenticated with Facebook yet, you'll get a message to click a link to do so. Once you click the link, you'll be redirected to Facebook. There, you'll log in and be redirected back to LeadPost after authenticating with Facebook.
Use Facebook Business Manager
To use LeadPost's integrated social capabilities, you'll need to use Facebook Business Manager account and associate your pages with it.
If you're redirected back to LeadPost and you see a message that indicates that you don't have any Facebook pages, that means that none of your pages are associated with Facebook Business Manager.
For more information on how to do that, here are two support documents from Facebook's parent company, Meta:
- Create a Business Manager | Meta Business Help Center (facebook.com)
- Add a Page to Business Manager | Meta Business Help Center (facebook.com)
If you have any problems setting that up, feel free to email us for help at support@leadpost.com.
Add a New Creative
After you click the plus sign and authenticate with Facebook if necessary, you'll begin adding your creative. In the first dropdown, you'll select the page that you'd like to use to deliver the ad.
Then, you'll give the creative a name, upload an image for the ad, and select a call to action.
Next, you'll give the ad a headline, set the primary text, add a description, and enter a destination URL (that URL can include query string and UTM parameters) and a display URL.
Once you're done, you'll click Create, which will bring up the proofing dialogue window so you can see how the ad will look on Facebook. If you need to make changes, close the window and edit the creative.
Submit Your Creative for Review
Once you're satisfied, you can submit the creative for review. All social and display creatives are internally reviewed. If there are any issues, we will reject the creative with an indication of what needs to be updated.
Then, you can edit the existing creative and resubmit it or add a new creative and submit that.
Once your creative is submitted and approved, you'll receive a notification that it has been approved and it's for ready for use in your first social campaign.
